Künstlerische Übungen mit Ton im Wald

Künstlerische Übungen mit Ton im Wald sind das Ergebnis der Forschung in dem Bereich des Natur Begriffs in Bezug auf die Idee der Trennung vom Rest der lebenden Welt, mit der wir diesen Planeten teilen. 

Dušan Rodić nähert sich dem Problem der Teilung unserer Umwelt in Natur und Kultur von einem psychologischen Aspekt.  Der Begriff Biophilia wurde von Erich Fromm verwendet, um den menschlichen Drang zu benennen, sich mit anderen Lebewesen zu verbinden. Dieser Begriff wurde von Edward O. Wilson in der Biophilia-Hypothese entwickelt. Der Mensch ist über seine Sinne hinaus mit seiner Umwelt verbunden,  die durch den Aufstieg der digitalen Kommunikation an Wichtigkeit verloren hat. Indem wir die Verbindung zu unserem Körper und unseren Sinnen verlieren, verlieren wir die Verbindung zu der lebenden Welt um uns herum. 

Die künstlerischen Aufgaben und Übungen, die Dušan Rodić zusammengetragen und gestaltet hat, haben das Ziel, die Aufmerksamkeit auf die körperliche Intelligenz umzulenken, um ein emotionales Gleichgewicht herzustellen. Das Erwachen des Bewusstseins in Bezug auf unsere Sinne eröffnet die Möglichkeit der Kommunikation mit der lebendigen Welt um uns herum wahrzunehmen. Die Aktivierung des Körpers und das Erwecken der Sinne sind der Schlüssel, um das Gefühl der Trennung von der Natur aufzulösen. 

Die Teilnahme an den Workshops ist kostenlos, eine Anmeldung ist nicht erforderlich.

Dušan Rodić, geboren in Belgrad (SRB), studierte an der Gerrit Rietveld Academy, an der Rijks Academie van Beeldende Kunsten und an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Für seine Skulpturen und Installationen verwendet Dušan Rodić funktionale Alltagsgegenstände. In seiner künstlerischen Forschung beschäftigt er sich mit dem Problem der Teilung der Umwelt in Natur und Kultur. Der psychologische Ansatz hilft dabei, die menschliche Wahrnehmung, Interpretation und Interaktion mit der Umwelt zu verstehen. Rodić arbeitet aktiv mit dem Publikum selbst und erarbeitet eine Serie der praktischen Übungen, die meistens in naturbezogenen Orten und mit Verwendung natürlichen Materialien praktiziert werden. Dušan Rodić lebt und arbeitet in Berlin.

Un-knowing as a Method
Symbiotic lecture in movement by Daniela Medina Poch

What inner and outer worlds can emerge from un-knowing? Can un-knowing allow a wider listening and a more porous attunement to our environments?

In which ways can the acceptance of not knowing contribute to de-canonizing hegemonic knowledge systems?

Staying with the Wonder, Unknowing as a Method is a symbiotic lecture in movement around un-knowability as a way to render accountability of often overlooked agencies and interrelations; un-knowability as an experimental approach to ecocentric epistemologies, embodied listening and interspecies entanglements.

In This Restless Third Space  

A conversation around map-making and the results of a workshop led by Raras Umaratih

We never really start at the beginning, do we?
Like many things In This Restless Third Space, you have traveled far and sometimes you find yourself not knowing where you are or how you got here. 

Through the process of drawing maps and walking in the open air by the lake, Raras Umaratih questions the possibility of giving form to emotional spaces that explore feelings of disembodiment and dislocation, linked to the experience of living between contrasting cultural and geographical contexts. 

The artist will present the maps resulting from a workshop she will facilitate at Strandbad Tegelsee with participants of the *foundationClass and will guide us through the bridges and tunnels connecting these different emotional rooms created by the experience of the Third Space.

fantastic feminist futures invites artists who relate to intersectional feminist perspectives to introduce their practices. We are interested in bringing to light the processes, the small changes rather than the spectacular leaps, the knowledge of what often remains in the shadows. This close reading of the works happens in the very particular place of Strandbad Tegelsee/Zentrum für Kultur und Erholung: on the one hand remote, in the woods on the lake Tegel, and at once in the middle of the city of Berlin. This gives us the trigger to embrace artistic expressions outside the traditional context of the white cube while connecting and reconnecting to the environment. The events are organised around exchange and conversation.

Krishan Rajapakshe will be offering us their food concept accompanied by its illustrated comic narrative.

Daniela Medina Poch (she/her) born in Bogotá, based in Berlin is an interdisciplinary artist and researcher. She investigates how unofficial histories and interspecies entanglements contribute to the conception of ecocentric narratives, epistemic bridges that amplify non-hegemonic knowledge systems. She works with the political potential of language and language subversion, and sensitive wonders that are woven into sculpture / installation-performances, lecture-performances and symbiotic listening spaces, artistic pedagogies and collective platforms.  

Raras Umaratih (she/they) moved to Berlin in 2018 and studies art at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weißensee. Her artistic practice involves individual projects as well as community and collective activities. They use a variety of media, from painting to animation, installation to performance. Her work has also focused on creating ecosystems through composting. They are a member of MilisiFilemCollective, a Jakarta-based non-profit that runs alternative learning spaces for art and films. Her collective projects include jam sessions and poster workshops in public spaces. They also initiated the Decolonial Archive Lab collective zine in her art school.

Krishan Rajapakshe (they/them) is an artist and a designer born in Sri Lanka, who made Berlin their HOME for the last 10 years. Their artistic and design practices revolve mainly around drawing, comics, zines and social kitchen, proposing narratives and counter-narratives that emerge from the context of the migration experiences and their communities. Krishan Rajapakshe is also an educator; they are part of the teaching team of *foundationClass since 2020 and have been guest professor and a lecturer at Kunsthochschule Weissensee Berlin since 2021. They are founding member of magazines such as Zick Magazine in Dresden and ColourfulVoices in Berlin. Their approach to collective and collaborative artistic work is a way of making politics/friends which generate their own communing aesthetics.

Sonic Scavenging: Hidden Music In The Wild

Lena Pozdnyakova and Eldar Tagi invite participants to explore the world of sound in new and exciting ways. Through a series of listening and practical games, the participants are introduced to playful tools and methods that amplify awareness about the audible world, increase reflection, and encourage a deepened connection with the environment.

Erde-Workshops take place on Saturdays at Strandbad Tegelsee/Zentrum für Kultur und Erholung. Participation in the workshops is free of charge, registration is not required. The workshops are led by members of the Moabit Mountain College and focus on artistic practice in connection with ecology and sustainability. The lido Tegelsee serves us here as a very special open-air laboratory.

Lena Pozdnyakova is an artist, curator, and researcher from Almaty, Kazakhstan, currently based in Berlin, Germany. The scope of her work in collaborative projects and research involves questions related to the culture-nature relationship and blurring the boundary between life and art. Since 2016, Lena has been working towards expanding her work to embrace more socially-engaged projects through collaboration, practices of care, intergenerational work, and community involvement. She is currently a doctoral student at Free University in Berlin, in the Institute of Art History.

Eldar Tagi, a multi-instrumentalist and composer originally from Kazakhstan, is now based in Berlin, Germany. His live improvised performances use a range of instruments, including computers, field recordings, analog modular synthesizers, daxophone, guitars, other stringed instruments, found objects, and self-made sound-makers. In both solo and collaborative work, Tagi explores the complicated dynamics between sound, objects, and environments, often in extreme forms.

Through this reading session we want to invite you to a communality of sense-making through reflections on intimacy, softness, and the comradeship of love. We will give love words by evoking fragments from writings of Audre Lorde, bell hooks, Alexandra Kollontai, adrienne maree brown and more — editing texts with gasps of awe, stings of lingering pain, and heartbeats committed to the rhythms of justice.

Too often systematic abuse is insisted to be an expression of love and allegiance. Too many have been told that their economy, society, and family need their pain to exist. Who is benefitting or harmed from such a proclaimed allegiance that serves the function of loving a selected few in governance or in power, or of one above another, all in the name of ‚love‘? How can we attune to listening to the wounds of such a love, and hear within them the possibilities of refusal and restoration? We will read together while trusting in our capacities of joy, of generative love and eros, and of intimacy: as creative forces grounded in deep sensual wisdoms of the body’s knowledge. We will accompany each other in witnessing how our body’s cells quietly and slowly respond to the sounds of words given to, and invoking, the complexities of love.

In the frame of the cycle Lesen am See we would like to invite diverse reading groups and collectives to share their practices, related to the dialogical nature of text itself as well the community of readers & listeners. The cycle is curated by Agnieszka Kilian.

Lynhan Balatbat-Helbock is a curator and researcher at SAVVY Contemporary and is part of the participatory archive project Colonial Neighbours. She received her MA in Postcolonial Cultures and Global Policy at Goldsmiths University of London and moved to Berlin in 2013. In her work within the permanent collection of SAVVY Contemporary she looks for colonial traces that are manifested in our present. The collaborative archive dedicates itself to discussing silenced histories and to the decanonization of the Western gaze through objects and the stories behind them.

Hubert Gromny is an artist, curator and researcher at SAVVY Contemporary currently working on developing artistic program dedicated to the neighbourhood of Wedding. He received MA in Art Praxis from Dutch Art Institute, MA in Graphic Art from Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow and BA in philosophy at Jagiellonian University in Cracow. Recently he co-curated (with Renan Laru-an and Mokia Laisin) Jean-Ulrick Désert’s monographic exhibition “Conspicous Invisibility” at SAVVY Contemporary.

Kelly Krugman is a Mexican–American curator, editor, and project coordinator at SAVVY Contemporary. She holds a degree from Amherst College where her focus was on Comparative Literature, Fine Arts, and Performance Studies. She was a collaborating curator of ECOLOGIES OF DARKNESS (2018-2019), a project exploring intersectional feminist alliances and poetic figurations of queer pasts, presents, and futures, and then later: ULTRASANITY. On Madness, Sanitation, Antipsychiatry, and Resistance (2019) and RAUPENIMMERSATTISM (2020), to name a few.

Mokia Laisin is an editor and curator at SAVVY Contemporary. His practice is concerned with exploring and relativising African and Latin American political economic writing emanating from the anti-colonial literary canon of the 20th century. He employs a class-conscious approach to his study of the demystifying potential of writing in its many forms.

Lia Milanesio is a Master graduate from Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, Italy and Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, Germany, with a dissertation analyzing the colonial impact on the Central African Republic through the five animal novels of René Maran. In 2020, she published in the post-colonial online journal “Il Tolomeo” the article “Environmental criticism in René Maran’s animal novels”, where she analyzed the ecological brutality of colonialism. She is now managing and co-curating the project “On damp earth we wander”, a concept by Lynhan Balatbat-Helbock, along with Bilger Emir.

Wir versammeln uns unter einem Sonnenschirm, den Marta Sala mit Cheong Kin Man nicht nur für diesen Abend gestaltet hat. Der Schirm bleibt am Strandbad für den ganzen Sommer und wir hoffen, durch diesen einladenden Gestus einen Raum geschaffen zu haben, den alle nutzen können.

Während dieser Runde werden uns Marta Sala und Batoul Sedawi ihren Werdegang und ihre Praxen anvertrauen. Beide Künstlerinnen teilen eine Art von Engagement, die ihre künstlerische Arbeit beeinflussen. Wie lässt sich eine solche Praxis weitergeben, welche Methoden ergeben sich daraus?

fantastic feminist futures wird  im Rahmen des zweijährigen Kooperationsprojekts  Artistic Ecologies: New Compasses, Tools and Alliances, das in Zusammenarbeit mit WHW (Zagreb), Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten (Amsterdam) und Neue Nachbarschaft/Moabit (Berlin) konzipiert wurde.

Das Programm wird vom Creative Europe-Programm der Europäischen Kommission und der Foundation Between Bridges kofinanziert.

Marta Stanisława Sala bewegt sich zwischen den verschiedenen Rollen: diejenigen, die von der Gesellschaft als nicht künstlerisch assoziiert werden, bis zu denen, die als solche anerkannt werden. Sie ist Malerin, die sie an der Kunstakademie in Krakau studiert, Absolventin der Bekleidungstechnologie Ausbildung, die gerne näht und schneidet verschiedene Materialien incl. Videos, sozial engagierte Künstlerin, die Kunst im Kontext an der Universität der Künste Berlin studierte, Kunstvermittlerin und eine Mitbegründerin von vielen Kollektiven. Die Schnittstellen sind wie ein brennender Punkt für ihre Praxis. Gleichwohl will sie die Grenzen nicht festsetzen.

Batoul Sedawi ist Künstlerin und lebt in Berlin. Sie kam 2015 aus Syrien nach Berlin, wo sie die *foundation Class an der Kunsthochschule Weißensee besuchte. Sie studierte Bildende Kunst in Damaskus, Syrien. Von 2017 bis 2020 studierte sie an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Sie gibt künstlerische Workshops für Kinder, Jugendliche und Frauen. Sedawi beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema der Frauenrechte, Frauenbewegungen und auch den Themenkomplex Flucht und Migration. Zusammen mit der *foundationClass stellte sie bei der nGbK, der 10. Berlin Biennale und der Documenta 15 aus und war Teil der Ausstellung „the economy of borders“ am Rathaus Tiergarten.

Krishan Rajapakshe ist ein*e in Sri Lanka geborene*r Künstler*in und Designer*in, dey in den letzten 10 Jahren Berlin zu deren ZUHAUSE gemacht hat. Die künstlerischen und gestalterischen Praktiken konzentrieren sich hauptsächlich auf Zeichnungen, Comics, Zines und Social Kitchen und schlagen Erzählungen und Gegenerzählungen vor, die aus dem Kontext der Migrationserfahrungen und deren Gemeinschaften hervorgehen. Krishan Rajapakshe ist auch Pädagoge*in, seit 2020 ist Krishan Rajapakshe Teil des Lehrteams von *foundationClass, seit 2021 Gastprofessor*in und Dozent*in an der Kunsthochschule Weißensee Berlin. Krishan Rajapakshe ist weiterhin Gründungsmitglied von Zeitschriften wie dem Zick Magazine in Dresden und ColourfulVoices in Berlin. Rajapakshes Ansatz zur kollektiven und kollaborativen künstlerischen Arbeit ist eine Möglichkeit, Politik und Freunde zu verknüpfen, die eine eigene kommunikative Ästhetik hervorbringen.

Cheong Kin Man ist ein visueller Anthropologe aus Macau und lebt in Berlin. Als leidenschaftlicher Sprachenliebhaber arbeitet er seit zwei Jahren mit Marta Stanisława Sala an der Verbindung von Text und Textil. Er schreibt in mehreren Sprachen. Zu seinen Experimentalfilmen gehören „Eine nutzlose Fiktion“ und „L’étymologie d’un rêve“.

fantastic feminist futures is very pleased to host Lahya Aukongo and Amora C. Bosco to the first event of the season 2023 at Strandbad Tegelsee /Zentrum für Kultur und Erholung. Poetics of passionate tongues will ebb and flow in unique harmonies, in a celebration of friendships and an encouragement of care joined in their art and poetry, in this duo performance of earthly and galactic channeled vibrations of the Spoken-Word.  Lahya Aukongo and Amora C. Bosco will go into the depth of their individual journeys in this interactive conversation-based performance. They will share poetry, the backgrounds and methods of their composition, their inspirations, their politics and their touch on intersectional feminist perspectives in the arts.

Amora C. Bosco is a Kenyan born writer, poet, multifaceted artist, performer and activist based in Berlin, Germany. She has established various platforms that give voices and raise awareness for diverse issues and situations in the everyday life of the Black diaspora community. Amora’s work is deeply personal and political. Her performances are powerful and emotive, engaging audiences with her lyrical language and raw honesty. Amora Bosco is the pioneer of ‘Poetry_Lab’ an extensive creative writing mentorship program for BIPoC writers in Berlin. Bosco is part of the *foundationClass*collective and was part of the Lumbung Artists invited to Documenta 15 in 2022, she holds a teaching position at the *foundationClass educational platform.  

Lahya Aukongo is a namibian Black queer, disabled, neurodiverse, fat Femme intersectionally interwoven and interdisciplinary artist in a dark skinned body who uses poetry and art as a surviving mechanism and a healing communication tool. Every form of Lahyas art has ultimately helped Lahya process the vulnerable experiences as a human at the Center of edge. Lahya knows that the acts of embodying joy and telling her story in her own words is freedom work. It is a way to hold space and take space. Lahya’s life includes One World Poetry Night, the books „Kalungas Kind“, „Buchstabengefühle“, some zines, the e-book „Sperrlinien“ and more. The artistic content touches on de:privilege, decolonization, healing, individual as well as collective love and vulnerability. Lahya’s pronouns are Lahya and Lahya’s bed resides in Berlin.

Auch in diesem Sommer findet neben dem klassischen Badebetrieb ein interdisziplinäres Kulturprogramm statt mit Lesungen, Choraufführungen, Workshops, künstlerischen Interventionen und vielem mehr.

Die Teilnahme an allen Veranstaltungen ist kostenlos. Es gilt lediglich der Eintritt ins Strandbad.
Bei Dauerregen werden wir die Veranstaltungen auf einen späteren Termin umlegen.

Für das diesjährige Artist-in-Residency Programm wurde die bildende Künstlerin Rupali Patil eingeladen. Rupali lebt und arbeitet in Pune, Indien. Während ihrer zweimonatigen Residency im Strandbad Tegelsee möchte sie weiter an dem Thema Gewässer und an anderen ökologischen Fragestellungen künstlerisch forschen. Die Abschlusspräsentation und das Gespräch mit der Künstlerin finden am 13. August statt.

Die fünf Erde-Workshops konzentrieren sich auf die künstlerische Praxis in Verbindung mit Ökologie und Nachhaltigkeit. Termine: 29. Juli, 5. August, 12. August, 19. August, 26. August jeweils ab 13 Uhr.

Fantastic feminist futures ist eine Veranstaltungsreihe, in der Künstlerinnen eingeladen werden, die sich mit intersektionalen feministischen Perspektiven auseinandersetzen. Es werden prozessorientierte künstlerische Praktiken vorgestellt, im Austausch und Gespräch mit dem Publikum. Termine: 30. Juni, 7. Juli, 4. August.

Lesen am See – Im Rahmen des Zyklus werden Lesegruppen und Kollektive eingeladen, ihre Stimmen zu teilen, die sich auf die dialogische Natur des Textes selbst sowie auf die Gemeinschaft der Leser*innen und Zuhörer*innen beziehen. Die Lesungen finden sowohl auf Englisch als auch auf Deutsch statt. Termine: 14. Juli, 28. Juli, 18. August.

Das Kulturprogramm und die Residency sind Teil des Projektes ARTECO (Artistic Ecologies: New Compasses, Tools and Alliances), in Kooperation mit der Rijksakademie van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam und der WHW in Zagreb.

Das Programm wird unterstützt von der Europäischen Union und der Stiftung „Between Bridges“.

Sommerschule der Neuen Nachbarschaft/Moabit: Zum dritten Mal findet in der Zeit der Schulferien auch die Sommerschule für Kinder aus Familien mit einem Fluchthintergrund statt. Organisiert wird das Projekt durch den Verein „Neue Nachbarschaft/Moabit“.

Schach am See ist ein Schachturnier, bei welchem auch Kinder und Jugendliche spielen dürfen. Es findet viermal in der Saison statt. Termine: 17. Juli, 27. August, 17. September.

Staats- und Domchor Berlin im Strandbad Tegelsee: Wir freuen uns auch darüber, unsere Kooperation mit dem Staats- und Domchor Berlin fortzuführen. Es stehen bereits zwei Konzertermine Anfang Juli.

Zwei Lerngemeinschaften:  Živi Atelje DK und  Hand Weaving & Observing Eye

In zwei Sessions, einmal vor Ort in der Neuen Nachbarschaft/ Moabit und das zweite Mal in einem Online-Meeting, tauschten wir uns über die Erfahrungen zweier Initiativen aus: das erste Hand Weaving & Observing Eye am Moabit Mountain College in Berlin gegründet und das zweite Živi Atelje DK (Living Atelier DK) in Zagreb.

Die Grundidee des Kollektivs Hand Weaving ist die Erforschung sozialer Bindungen: Durch die Arbeit mit Textilien und der Materialität des Webens als solches, seiner Dauer, der Zeit, die benötigt wird, um Wissen und Vertrauen zu gewinnen, Verständnis für das Material und Verantwortung für den Werkstoff, konzentriert sich das Kollektiv auf den Aufbau sozialer Bindungen und möglicher Transformationen. Das Živi Atelje DK wurde im Atelier der Bildhauerin Vera Dajht Kralj eingerichtet und dient als Treffpunkt für Menschen unterschiedlicher Herkunft. Eine sehr ähnliche Idee liegt auch der Neuen Nachbarschaft und ihrem Projekt Moabit Mountain College zugrunde. Die Erfahrungen beider Sessions wurden in Form von Podcast-Episoden für Seeee Radio aufgenommen, damit sie zirkulieren und verschiedene Communities erreichen können.

Im ersten Teil teilten die eingeladenen Künstlerinnen Marta Sala und Sveta Husakova ihre Verbundenheit mit dem Textil als Material mit. Sie stellten ihren formellen und informellen Bildungswege dar: Marta erklärte, wie ihr die Garmont Industrial School, die sie neben der Akademie der Schönen Künste absolvierte, einen spezifischen Blick auf das Textil, auf die Verantwortung gegenüber dem Material sowie auf die Handarbeit, die normalerweise von Frauen geleistet wird, gegeben hat. Sveta Husakova berichtete über ihre Erfahrungen in der Weberinnengemeinschaft in ländlichen Regionen von Belarus, die an Polen und die Ukraine grenzen: wie sie das Vertrauen der Gemeinschaft gewann, die Verbreitung von Wissen beobachtete.

Im zweiten Teil, der als Online-Session stattfand, zeichneten Cyrille Cartier und Saša Kralj nach, wie sie mit dem Vermächtnis der Keramikkünstlerin und Bildhauerin Vera Dajht Kralj arbeiten, die selbst Migrantin war und im Nachkriegs-Jugoslawien ein offenes Atelier leitete, das als sozialer Treffpunkt diente. Darauf aufbauend betreiben Cyrille und Saša einen Raum in Veras ehemaligem Studio als Living Atelier, in dem viele Initiativen und Klassen gegründet wurden und als Plattformen des Lernens und der Förderung dienen. Eines der vielen Kollektive im Živi Atelje DK setzt die Arbeit mit Keramik fort. Im Austausch mit Cyrille Cartier und Melike Bikec, einem der Mitglieder der Keramik-Klassen, haben wir uns mit Strategien des Community Buildings, mit Sprachpolitik, aber auch mit Herstellungsprozessen an sich beschäftigt.

Our new Podcast in the frame of the project communities of learning

Živi Atelje DK and  Hand Weaving & Observing Eye (Moabit Mountain College)

During two sessions, one in Neue Nachbarschaft/ Moabit and a second as an on-line meeting, we shared experiences of two initiatives: one started at Moabit Mountain College in Berlin Hand Weaving & Observing Eye and the second run in Zagreb as Živi Atelje DK (Living Atelier DK).

The very founding idea of the Hand Weaving collective  is the investigation of social ties: by working with textile and with materiality of weaving itself, its duration, the time needed to gain knowledge and trust, understanding of the material and responsibility toward the fabric, the collective focuses on the building of social connections and possible transformations. The Živi Atelje DK is an initiative established in the studio of the sculptor Vera Dajht Kralj and serves further as a place where people with different backgrounds can meet. The very similar idea underlies Neue Nachbarschaft and its project Moabit Mountain College. The experiences of the sessions were gathered in the form of podcast episodes for Seeee Radio, so they can circulate and reach out to different communities.

In the first part, invited artists Marta Sala and Sveta Husakova shared their attachment to the textile itself. They pictured their educational ways, both formal and informal: Marta explained how far the Garmont Industrial School she graduated from – along the Academy of Fine Arts – gave her a specific view on textile and the responsibility versus the fabric as well as the hand work done usually by women. Sveta Husakova shared her experiences of the research she made in the weaving community in rural Belarusian regions, nearby Poland and Ukraine: how she gained the trust of the community, observed the circulation of knowledge.

In the second part, during the on-line session, Cyrille Cartier and Saša Kralj pictured the way they work with the legacy of the studio of ceramic artists, sculptor Vera Dajht Kralj, who herself was an migrant and ran in postwar Yugoslavia an open studio, that served as a social hub. Drawing upon this attitude Cyrille and Saša, have been running the very space of Vera´s former studio as a Living Atelier, where many initiatives and classes have been started and are based as learning and support platforms. One of many collectives of Živi Atelje DK continues the work with ceramics. In the exchange we had with Cyrille Cartier and Melike Bikec, one of the members of the ceramic classes, we looked into the community building strategies, language policy, but also the making processes themselves.

Not only a textile is a plural narrative!
